Celebrating the Visionaries Who Shaped Our Community
FLEX Institute began as Orthopedic Specialists of Louisiana in the late 1970s with a group of orthopedic surgeons who wanted to build their own path to success.
Founding partner David Waddell, MD, remembers that he and his partners were some of the first orthopedic surgeons to invest in creating a team of dedicated orthopedic surgeons with subspecialties who were also fellowship-trained. These founding partners laid the foundation of excellence that translates to who we are today.
